As a subtle fangirl

I'm a very choosy person when it comes to anime. I usually favor the ones that are short, romance, and shoujo animes. I was never addicted to any of them though. I just like seeing sweet moments. However, I did get hook to popular animes such as Naruto, Bleach, and so on (which I gave up following because they're too long). I also have my favorite recent anime movies such as Toki wo Kakeru Shouju (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time) and Graveyard of the Fireflies. But before all that, the anime/manga that I loved up until today and the anime which maybe one of the reasons why I'm in love with Japan is (and will always be) Rurouni Kenshin.

I can still remember the elementary student me who religiously came home just in time for the anime to start. So imagine my excitement when I found out that they will be starting a movie adaptation soon! According to TokyoHive:

"On June 28th, it was confirmed that a live-action movie of ‘Rurouni Kenshin’ will be released in 2012, and it will indeed star Sato Takeru. Otomo Keishi (the chief director of “Ryomaden“) will direct the movie, and the production company will be Warner Brothers" (Shiso, 2011).

I am so (freaking) excited! I'm just holding my grounds and trying not to get my expectations too high, but I really hope that it turns out great.
