Siem Reap, Cambodia - Day 2: Temple Run and Night Market

Part 1: Temple Run

Day 2 was our most tiring day back in Cambodia, as we scheduled to have our temple tour. As I've mentioned from my previous post, I wanted to go to Cambodia because of the beautiful temple that I saw in a Tomb Raider movie back in 2001. On our second day, I fulfilled that goal. Of course, we started with the amazing Angkor Wat.
We, along with dozens of other tourists, hoped to see the sunrise. However, since it was almost the start of the rainy season in Cambodia, we were not able to see any ray of light when we got there. That missed sunrise is one reason why I want to go back to Cambodia! Still, the our second day was still promising.

Happy Mother's Day!

 Happy Mother's day, Nanay!

The first thing I can tell you about my Nanay (mom) is that she hates having her picture taken, which is why the picture above is taken from last year's Mother's day. The picture isn't perfect, and I had to apply my meager Photoshop skills just to lighten it. But unlike the picture above, I think that I have the perfect mom. She's beautiful in my eyes all the time. Yes, she's a great nagger at times, but everything she does is for me and my big brother. I definitely love her for the gifts and sacrifices she gives us. I love you, Nanay!

Here's a tribute to all moms out there from one of my favorite bands. I listen to this all the time, even if its not Mother's day. Enjoy!
